If successful, they may be eligible for various tax benefits, including income tax exemption and angel tax relief.

Upon verification of the documents, a certificate will be issued with a recognition number. The documents that are uploaded should be authentic and complete. Uploading them incorrectly can lead to legal problems. If the documents are not authentic or not properly formatted, a business may be fined up to 50% of its paid up capital and a minimum of Rs.25,000.
